Maureen Van Nostrand is a full time artist who will have on display beautiful, classic oil paintings of peaceful landscapes, life-like still lifes, majestic buildings, and many different animals on traditional and very unique sized canvases. There will also be some acrylic, whimsical pieces from her instructional painting classes.

She always welcomes your ideas for your own personal piece of art that you'd like as either a gift idea for someone else, or for your own house to complement your room's style with that conversation piece you've been looking for. Whether it's your beloved pet, favorite landscape, a unique still life, or a classic oil portrait, Maureen can turn your pictures into a beautiful oil painting that can be cherished forever.

Maureen continues to be one of only a few artists asked to have her work on permanent display at the Endless Mountains Gift and Gallery in Montrose, PA. She also had a one-woman art show at HealthlinkNY in Binghamton, NY for the First Friday Artwalk this year. In addition, two of her paintings were accepted into the highly competitive juried art show at the Butternut Gallery in Montrose. Throughout the year she will have art shows at Saint Joseph’s Arts and Spirits, the Glenburn Township Art Show, and the Blueberry Festival Art Display.

Maureen displays and sells her work throughout the year at the Endless Mountains Gift and Gallery Store, the Endless Mountains Health System's Hospital, The Courthouse Annex, the Rehab Center in Montrose, and the Trehab Building in Montrose. Maureen is also an officer of the Hill Country Artist's art group. She looks forward to seeing you Columbus Weekend!

Her studio is located 1.3 miles out on Route 167 South from Route 706 East in Montrose. She can be contacted at (570)-278-4590, or at movanno@epix.net email and www.artbymovanno.com website. Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.
