Carey Williams

There is something appealing about a gourd – the different shapes, textures, smells. Using several different techniques, Carey takes a dried, hardshell gourd and creates pieces of art. Gourds can become lamps, baskets,
figurines, bowls, jewelry… the possibilities are endless. She uses dyes, embellishments, carving, and more to create something you can cherish forever.
